I looked if it was running in the task manager under processes and got nothing. i double click, see the busy icon for a second then nothing happens. The same outcome happens with all of those. ChCfg.exe, RAVCpl64.exe, RtlUpd64.exe, SkyTel.exe. As I said, no matter what I do when I double click the file in the installshield folder, mind you the files that are. Any other suggestions would be awesome too. So it would be great if once I can get the sound manager to open that I can stream multiple audio. Btw, I do have a front panel input for the microphone on the case I have for reference the Antec 900. Then i downloaded the latest driver and still the same issues. I got rid of everything I could to where it said no drivers are installed.

Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated.īrink, it was my fault i forgot to mention that i have uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers. As I said though it works perfectly fine in CS Source on 圆4 and works fine in every sense on XP 32. In order to get any sound from my mic I have to yell when setting up the microphone through vista. Only problem is the Mic volume is really low and I can't use it in Ventrilo or even Microsoft Sound Recorder. Also I forgot to mention, my Headset which is a Sennheiser from maybe about 3 or 4 years ago works fine in XP and even in CS Source on Vista 圆4. If your wondering I do have the latest R1.71 driver and the Asus M2n32-SLi Premium Vista Edition mobo. Does anyone else find this incredibly annoying? Anyways, I was wondering if anyone else is having trouble opening up their Realtek Sound Manager in Vista 圆4. To turn it down I have to go alt-tab out of my game, go into Vistas stupid audio setup and change from speakers to headphones as default device. My problem is, say I am gaming and using my 2.1 speakers, well my roommate comes in and says turn that down I need to study or what not. I say this because they are promoting vista for gamers yet being a gamer I know that having only one audio stream is just not going to work. Also, is there any patch to allow for multiple streams of audio at once, if not then Microsoft are idiots. So if anyone else has had the problem that when they double click the application in the installshield folder inside of Realtek then please let me know. One main problem with audio is that my drivers are working fine but I can't open up the Sound effect manager or any manager besides Vista's audio which sucks. Main reason is right now Vista is piddling me off. So I just recently got Home Premium 圆4 and I am considering partitioning my HD so I can have XP32 bit home on most of it.
